Cessna C210 Centurion
The Cessna 210 Centurion is a six-seat, high-performance, retractable-gear, single-engine, high-wing general aviation aircraft designed and built by Cessna for the general aviation market. Normally fitted with a 300hp TIO-520 Continental engine, some of our fleet are fitted with the 310hp TIO-550 Continental engine, which features smoother running, and an increased cruise speed. Targeted at the air taxi market and personal/family transport use, the aircraft was a huge success with 9,240 built, being first flown in January 1957 and produced by Cessna until 1986.. With its proven track record, ruggedness, and reliability the Cessna 210 continues to prove a popular choice in general aviation.
The Cessna 210 is fitted with six seats in total(including pilot seat). It has a baggage locker in the rear and has the space of a medium sedan. It has proven to be immensely popular with families traveling between remote communities, lodges transporting guests, and trades people travelling into and out of communities. Air Frontier currently operate seven of this type, with two based in Groote Eylandt, two based in Gove, 1 based in Maningrida, and two based in Darwin. This type can be configured for freight transport.
