Cessna 404 Titan
The Cessna 404 Titan is a cabin-class, twin-engine aircraft designed and built by Cessna for the general aviation market. It is powered by two 375 hp/280 kW turbocharged Continental Motors GTSIO-520 piston engines. Targeted at small-scale cargo and feeder liner operations and the corporate market, the aircraft was a success. With its proven track record, the C404 continues to prove a popular choice in general aviation, with production running from September 1976 up until 1982.
The Cessna 404 is fitted with up to eleven seats in total(including pilot seat), or an alternative Cargo layout with all seats removed. Our C404's are fitted with wing lockers and large nose lockers which can accommodate large and bulky items such as fishing rods or step ladders. Air Frontier operate two of this type from our Darwin base.
The Cessna 404 can be configured for passenger and/or cargo transport. All our C404's are fitted with wing lockers for extra baggage and cargo space. The C404 is a very capable freighter aircraft, with passenger seats easily removed to convert it to a cargo configuration. With large double doors located behind the wing, bulky freight can easily be accommodated. This aircraft can accommodate any and all types of freight including bulky items, dangerous goods, live animals, regular freight, essential freight for emergency situations, and more.
